Sony VCR (camcorder) (2, 180, 212, 26.81; 7, 185, 217, 26.129, 26.241; 11, 186, 218, 26.137; 25.37, 25.69; 25.101, 25.133; 25.165, 25.197)

Sony VCRs and camcorders all use the same command codes, just with a bunch of different device codes.  Beta VCRs are considered VCR1 by Sony and use device codes 2 and 180.  Camcorders and any VCRs using 8mm tape use VCR2, which is 7 and 185, and for additional camcorder codes 217 and 26.241(memory stick).  VHS VCRs use VCR3, which is 11 and 186.  Some VCRs let you switch between the three modes.  Apparently a while ago, VCR2 was device 4 and VCR3 was device 8, but that was changed at least 10 years ago.

DV VCRs have even more device codes; VCR4 is 25.37 and 25.69, VCR5 is 25.101 and 25.133, VCR6 is 25.165 and 25.197.

I have recently discovered that Sony webcams use camcorder codes with an additional device code for each mode.  They use modes 1-3.  I don’t have all the webcam codes, so if you have any additions, please e-mail me.
