How to Program your "Control-2" remote



Set Up

After getting SETUP codes from the list below

  1. PRESS the button for the device you want to program,(TV,CABLE), then RELEASE.
  2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
  3. ENTER the 3 digit code for your brand.
  4. You should receive 2 quick flashes after entering your code.
  5. PRESS the POWER button to test the code.

Searching For Your Code

If you have tried all of the set-up codes for your brand of equipment, or your brand is not listed, and you are still not able to get the unit to respond, try the following procedure to search for your code.
  1. Turn on the TV
  2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
  3. ENTER 9-9-1 (two blinks on the remote)
  4. ALTERNATE slowly between the Cursor Up key and the TV key until your device turns off.
    NOTE: In the search mode, the remote will send IR codes from its library to the selected component, starting with the most popular code first
  5. PRESS the SETUP button to lock in the code for your device.
  6. To search for the codes of other components, repeat steps 1 through 5, but substitute the appropriate key (i.e.VCR or CBL) for the component that you are searching for

Blinking Back the Code:

  1. PRESS the device (TV,CABLE) button - RELEASE
  2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
  3. PRESS 9 - 9 - 0.
  4. PRESS 1, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (1st digit)
  5. PRESS 2, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (2nd digit)
  6. PRESS 3, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (3rd digit)
If the remote DOES NOT blink it means the number is 0.
This is your 3-digit setup code.

Volume Lock

  1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
  2. PRESS 9 - 9 - 3
  3. PRESS the device button from which you want the volume to be controlled.
